1 month check up

Mady had her 1 month check up on January 17, 2011. Dr Gold was once again very impressed with her weight and length gain! She is now 9 lbs, up from 7 lbs at birth, and she is 22inches long, up from 19.5 at birth! She is going to be long and lean! Mady is in the 95th percentile for her length, that just means very above average. Dr. Gold said she is the length of a 2month old! She is in the 50th percentile for her weight, which means exactly average for her age. They measured her head and she is in the 25th percentile for her head size, which is below average. Not a bad thing or anything to worry about, just explains why all her hats and bows/headbands don't fit! She has a little peanut head! Dr. Gold said she has a great temperment, seems like a very good/easygoing baby! SO HAPPY for that! I have thanked God so many times these last 6 weeks that He gave us such a good happy baby!
On a side note, I (Tiffany) am returning to work on Friday, the 28th, I'm very sad to be leaving my little girl but very excited that she'll be spending lots of time with her Nana! I'm sure with Aunt Kristen too. I'm so grateful to have family who are willing and able to watch Mady, that is so valuable to me. I do not want to have to put her in daycare with strangers at such a young age. Im so blessed that my in laws are willing to watch Mady, makes going back to work a little easier knowing she's in great hands!
The last 3-4 days Mady has been unusually fussy, still not sure why, can only think its a stage. She gets very fussy when trying to fall asleep and when her tummy is bothering her (she has strong gas and it bubbles in her tummy ALOT before she is able to get it out and that upsets her sometimes) and sometimes she is just fussy for no reason it seems. Its not the 'screaming turn red in the face make you want to pull your hair out, kind of crying, just fussy and a little bit of crying. We're just rolling with it, trying to soothe and help where we can. Learning her queues as she learns her environment. Its been fun seeing her grow and change everyday! We love her a ton!

Ahhh yes you are blessed to have Nana and Aunt Kristen..
Lord willing If we are still here, when she gets a bit older we can have her for a short bit too.

She is beautiful, and blessed also to be where she is soooo thoroughly loved!

I am visualizing great things for her in the coming years!
Love Ya Gramma G.
